Description
The lovely Kerrhylon Valsira shows off her inglata marks, a special scale ink pattern which signifies that she is married! (the inglata marks are the ones that resemble chain links - the v-shaped marks are a bit of personal flair) Val is a player character that picked up a lover between campaign arcs, and was unknowingly pregnant with their child when the next arc started! Thankfully she was able to stay out of danger until she laid her egg, and post campaign she and her guy welcomed their new daughter into the world.
Val is a Bahamuti (chromatic) dragonborn, but she is sporting Caesintril scale ink and clothing since her hubby is Caesintril, and she's more or less fully converted to their culture. Bahamuti were in a bit of an anti-magic phase when Val was a child, and her chaotically blossoming wild magic got her kicked out of the clan. Thankfully the Caesintril are particularly fond of magic, so Val feels much more at home in her husband's homeland
This art is part of an impromptu "Lorebruary" challenge I've set for myself, which is intended to give me an excuse to do more digital art and flesh out my homebrew D&D world a bit more, and this is the last drawing in the challenge! I've had a blast doing this, and I'm loving all the new lore I've dreamed up this month! I'll definitely be doing more worldbuilding art in the future, albeit at a slower pace, but during March I'll be doing a daily posting challenge of a different kind - posting all the Inktober stuff I never got around to posting/actually doing last October!
