thats kind of funny, Sabbat sounds like Sabbath, wich is the day of the Lord of the bible, and the standing stone, has the sun glyph with the all seeing eye, wich in occultism is a sign of Lucifer. very interesting how this came together.

Finally I have the time to comment on this...
I really like this painting, the perspective and contrast between the complementary colours give it a dramatic feel.
The sky is painted perfectly, I had to look at it a moment to see that you did not use a photo.
The texture on the stone is amazing, all the little cracks and bumps someone looking at this to almost feel the stones surface. The transition between the fire-lit part and the upper part with the glowing marking is perfect as well, there are none of the strange effects one often sees when looking at a transition between complementary colours.
The crowd dancing around the fire looks exuberant...the only thing that took me slightly aback is that it looks like the person standing out from the crowd seems to jump directly into the flames.
The only point of critique I have is the lack of texture on the rocks at the side. Everything else features so many little details that they donΒ΄t fit in.

This is great. I love stories of old tribes, their whole way of natural living does appeal to me. The perspective of the picture, combined with the fire in front of the stone, is the thing that makes it so attractive for my eyes.
