"Toozh-lick syndrome"
Is a phenomenon some yinglets " most with a different dental setup "
is experiencing through their life.
The yinglet will observe his or hers peers and notice the different shell-tooth placements.
The individual will then start to become more and more obsessed with this obviously unfairness and
will start to lick their shell tooth.
If the problem procedes, it can go from consciously licking, to unconsciously. And lead to
stress, anxiety, sleep problems, paranoia and depression.
The obsession can be helped with a mentor, supporting the afflicted yinglet.
The earlier it´s catched, the easier it is treated.

so Mori Rai is about three years old, and still growing? So just barely within the adult stage, equivalent to a 19 or 20 year old human.
I’m not sure exactly how much Time has passed since the day he made a fishing rod, but the amount of learning he’s done suggests anywhere from 2 to 6 months. So a late Teen who was still growing.
So that growth would explain how his Shell Tooth Migrated from just off-center to the location of a canine.

It´s very hard for Arhron to make the sound, hence the lip smacking
In one of the early pages Mori´rai sates that he has seen snow twice, so when combining it all, we can "somewhat" assume he is juuust below 3 years old.

It seems like it was whispered, and whispering doesn’t lend itself to hard “th” or “z” sounds. Most of the time, I hear those sounds being skipped over, so “smooth and warm” would be an appropriate translation.

For za benefit of za humans, its a good zhing zhat Mori'rai caught his tongue, and represented za scarring as an accident, and not a murder attempt!
But Minalasi has ducked-out even before za last of ze exam is recorded. And wizhout a sign or word!

Difference between a Yinglet doctor and a human doctor.
When a Yinglet doctor examines your pocket, he is checking for healzh & development.
But when a human doctor examines your pocket, he is checking your wallet!
