For some time I was in this dream like state. My mind wandering from one thing to another. I feared that I would remain like this forever, trapped in the world of dreams. But before my mind had lost all its sanity I heard a voice in the distance. The voice seemed vaguely familiar to me but I could not seem to figure out whom I had heard the voice from. It was only when the voice spoke clearly that I knew who it was.

"It's time for thee to awaken once more from thy slumber," said the musical voice of the goddess who had sent me to this sleep so long ago.

Her holy light flashed over me, surrounding me in its warm glow. My eyes opened once more, the weariness that I had felt faded now Instead I felt a newfound determination. The bright light that awoke me from my slumber floated above me. And once it spoke I understood it was the goddess. But her holy light seemed to fade and become dull.

"Young warrior I haven't much time. Darkness rules over your world once more and even now my divine powers are being sapped away by the dark ones."

I looked up to her in concern, asking," What can I do to assist you? I do not wish for you to die."

The light grew warmer, and I knew she was smiling, even if I could not see it." I need you to rise from thy unnatural sleep that I have placed unto thee. Rise and fight against the dark ones once more, eradicating them from existence." I nodded, ready to fight once more but her hand stopped me from rising. "You cannot do it alone," she said, "There be four others who shall aid you in your quest. These four, being an archer, a mage, a rogue, and the reincarnation of Joan the Arch, will assist thee on thy quest. But remember young one that if thy shall fail to destroy the darkness, then the entirety of the world is doomed."

I nodded. Ready to face the darkness once more and save our world. The goddess understood my feelings, leaving no doubt in her mind that I would betray her. Soon she began to fade but spoke these last few words.

"I have given thee divine powers. That which is sealed inside you but hast changed thy appearance. When awake...... retrieve sword and armor. It rests....... Cathedral...... it purified............."

"...........GO..............."

And my body jolted awake. My eyes now open to the reality. I reached one hand forward and felt cold stone against my fingers. Confused I said to myself...

"Where am I?"
