I finished this print 2 days before the first day of Fanime '11. But that doesn't mean I got any extra sleep because of it lol. This particular print did pretty well though, I'm surprised. I'll do a full con-report in a few days...
This will also be sold at Anime Expo 2011 and other conventions in the future~
I'll begin working on a 5th Gen print after I finish with some leftover commissions from Fanime. Thank you to everyone who was in the streams while I worked on this! Sorry I didn't stream the coloring, I didn't want to deal with Procaster so soon before the con lol...
PS- Torterra is my favorite Pokemon so I kind of snuck in a little personalized detail from my own Torterra... See it?

I'd pick Turtwig and 4th gen is probably the best

It might be the weakest generation in my eyes, but to be fair - this was the generation that brought back my interest into the franchise. Make of that what you will.

I loved 4th gen. My empoleon and I defeated all the elite fours except for 1. Hoenn... we are coming.

The Generation which did it for me. Gen 1 didn't get me as interested into it as it did for most Pokemon fans; I was like 'merr.... its cool'. Gen 3 caught a lot of my attention; this the one giving me the biggest challenge in what starter to pick first. Later I discover gen 2, and I'm all like 'Is this the 3rd generation?' because I was an idiot. Played Pokemon Diamond on Christmas morning of 2007 and I was all like 'Hell yea! Empoleon I choose you!!' in almost every battle. Generation 4 forever!

AGREED. Even though I extremely dislike the style FOURTH AND FIFTH have, I still watch it religiously JUST because it`s Pokemon.

Another hard one to get used to, I picked the monkey because he was fire, but I again had a hard time choosing. My least fav evoleve form is um... Piplups?? or w.e into the pig ugly penguine lol.
Then I lost my game: Pearl. (least I finished it)
Then choose Turtwig in Platinum. I like him.

Because they fixed a lot of issues with the game mechanics with the 4th generation, more so than with any other gen if I recall correctly...

The best part of the games are how awesome your starter is and that you can always count on it to kick ass every battle...
I love these 3 and this is my least favourite set of starters...

Sorry for the late response, but thank you for the suggestion! I didn't quite use your quite but I riffed off it. The 4th gen really did fix a lot off fundamental issues with the game mechanics etc.

It really did. Ghost was a physical type, so Ghost-types like Gengar couldn't do much damage with Shadow Ball. Now, thanks to the split, Gengar can deal out more damage than before.

Diamond and Pearl was the first game I actually went and raised my pokemon, then I started over the rest and now is doing better than before!

In this generation I didn't have a favorite, always chose randomly. This really was my least favorite generation..... great another set of grass pokemon quadrupeds.
