I notice that Megs doesn't have an allegiance logo on his chest. I recall that for a while he had switched sides and was wearing the symbol of the Autobots.

First off, I'm not a fan of Megan Fox. Β I think they could have found someone else. Β The movie starts out strong with the military's involvement, but then they add the kid which turned me off by trying to sell his grandfather's legacy. Β Ok, fine ... that's a kid, but it still sucks. Β The parents were too over the top and embarrassing for my taste, making me cringe. Β The FBI agent was a moron and a half, seeming that he could not find his butt with both hands. Β And the two pot-heads or whatever they were ... good gawd! Β The humans were just getting in the way of the movie. Β

I can understand the problems with the humans Megan I honestly liked her character overall she seemed like a nice person, Sam is annoying of that I will not lie,his parents they were also meant to be embarrassing kind feeding into the stereotype of you know those annoying parents, Simmons (he actually wasn't part of the F.B.I) is meant to seem incompetent in the first film but he really grows into a funny loveable character in the future film's. I'd recommend checking out Dark of the Moon that's where the Bots get heavily involved and so do the military.

Iβm going to pass for the time being. I was so thoroughly turned off by the first movie that I really have no desire to see any of the others at the moment. I might go later on a whim go back to the first movie and watch it again to see if I can see it a different light, but no promises there. If I can get through the first movie without gagging too much, I might be able to sit through the others.

Alright truth be told as one who has seen all of them multiple times there are some that one would probably be better of just reading the synopsis or someone break down the plot in a video. Mainly the second and last film in the Bayverse to be exact.

Thatβs another thing that I donβt particularly care for Ttransformers these days is that Michael Bay got in there and in my opinion screwed it all up. Itβs the same thing that JJ Abrams did to Star Trek.

I'm not really a massive Treky fan (I honestly was introduced to the franchise thanks to J.J). Michael did at the very least helped elevate the TF franchise from toys series/occasional TV shows to global phenomenon.

While I don't care for his movies any more, Michael did indeed do that. Β And I can understand not being a Treky since most people are Star Warts fans. Β
