The Kisera:
The Kisera, also known as the State Security Service were the enforcement arm, paramilitary force and foreign intelligence branch of the Typhon Regime from 1915-1953. They were divided into 3 main branches or Detachments. These were the Inquisition, SID and Steelfront. Each were under the direct control of the Kisera and Veisel Inculta.
The Inquisition:
The Inquisition was perhaps the most feared organization in the entire Greater Genie Legion. Established in 1915, it was to be the secret police within the Legion and served three main purposes, to capture and execute the political enemies of the party during the bloodshed of the Great Purge. To arrest those accused of anti-revolutionary activities, such as criticizing the government. And perhaps most infamously to lead the mass murder of those seen as enemies of the state, such as the rich capitalist elite, the leaders of the Genie Wickist religion and the nearly 20 million non-Genie ethno-religious peoples, notably the Amitists and Creedols in a period known as the Tremadara.
The Inquisition was also the only one of the three Detachments that had subdivisions within itself, called Units. These were the Mobile Security Unit, responsible for executing enemies of the state while fighting alongside the Army in wartime and the State Detention Unit, responsible for running the various labor and internment camps.
