Sleep, who needs it anyway?Much to my delight I discovered this guy for the first time yesterday, and so I wanted to try my hand at drawing him. What was originally intended to be a cheap MS Paint avatar for Skype managed to turn into this when Photoshop (accidentally) somehow became involved... Enjoy I guess... He usually seems to.

I'm glad because it's my first and only attempt so far at a slendy/smexy thing as I've only discovered him a couple of days ago when browsing google for slendy things. *in soviet russia you raep smexy?*

It started with watching some LPs of older Slendy games, and then I found Slender The Arrival on sale for cheap on steam and tried it. After I changed my pants, I realized I'd finally found a legit scary game, but I only got 2 pages or so when I discovered something very unfair about it, Slendy can MAKE you look at him... like he can literally force the camera to turn to him and insta-kills you, wtf D:, and it happened a couple more times until I just rage quit. BUT, I will say that the game made me legit scared. Amnesia was lame in the scare department, Outlast wasn't bad, and while I usually hate cheap jump scares, what I liked about Slendy jump scares is that they were dynamic, like he actually follows you, appears, disappears, hides behind corners, he can even trap you in a room by appearing in the only doorway, which seriously, what a bitch move, how do you even get out of that? Argh, I love it and hate it at the same time, if that makes any sense lol
(A joke popularized by comedian Yakov Smirnoff called a "Russian reversal" where you flip the subject and object of the sentence; You glomped Smexy as opposed to the other way around, so I felt it appropriate :3)

Well, I can dig the powers, I just wasn't aware eyes could do that X3 I mean in The Arrival, you are in fact holding a camera, though why I haven't a clue, but in other Slender games, I'm not sure that this is the case, making me wonder why it still turns to static when tall, pale and faceless shows up. Eats you with what? No mouth says all the lore I've found. And the tentacles, do I even want to know? After all, I'm a furry and frequent a few related art sites, so I've seen enough not to put anything past anybody...

He has a mouth, but you can't see it because there is skin over it. when he eats he rips it open. All electronic go static when Slender is near.

If you do, they make no mention of it, and unlike the evidence of it in The Arrival (camera overlay and the player's shadow), the other games don't have clear evidence of it, so I just assumed there wasn't one, which is why it didn't make sense to me. Either way, I'm wondering... who in their right mind would still be even holding onto the camera once they see him? Me, I'd be all, "Omgwtfbbq NOPE, nope, so much nope", drop it and run, I can get a new one if I survive... which is another thing that bothers me about those games come to think of it... name one where you survive.
