Ancient Being of Omen

The being the people have called the Mothman is almost always seen right before or right after a death or tragedy. The Natives believe it to be a herald of Death.
Its crow like minions are sent out to find those whose time has come. No one is sure whether this being's intention are for good or evil, but all that is known is that pain and suffering are never far behind.

My go at the Mothman, I was going to make it look like a moth but thats been done to death. Then I remembered watching some documentary on cryptids and how some think that maybe what people saw was a very large bird, something like an owl. I went with a crow since crows are also seen as a sign of omen. I put the two together and got this.
