You see I made a crossover pairing of Blue Diamond and Yasha from Asura's Wrath. I call it Bonds Through Melancholy. Its called that because both characters' abilities are based on melancholy.

Yes. But more than that. What else do they share in common? And I don’t just mean a hero’s journey of self-development and becoming a more complete version of yourself. I mean something a little less broad, but still a big part of both worlds. You could say the Force, yes, but that’s kinda a given. As in my story, both organics who are attuned to the force, as well as all gems that are made by homeworld, can make use of it in their own way. But what else do they have in common? What else is a part of both worlds? (And one more clue may help. I don’t know if you know or not, but think about the weapons Jedi and Sith use. Or, perhaps, more importantly, what’s inside them.)

Yes!!!! Very good!!! And here’s the truly terrifying and gruesome part of it all... long ago, the gems invaded the Star Wars galaxy, and the ancestors of the Jedi and Sith, known as the Je’daii or Je’daii Bendu, who were balanced in the force between light and dark, fought back against the gems and eventually defeated them. And one of the ways they did so was using the shards of shattered gems... to make their Lightsabers! They used them to fight back against them! Isn’t that awesome? I swear I felt like my brain touched the cosmos when I thought of that.

Maybe, but nearly every demon may have some magic, and not everyone who follow the Sith do. If you know about knights of the old republic, or any story that takes place before the time of Darth bane, or the time during the galactic empire, you’ll know that the Sith always have lesser lackeys who aren’t even powered in the force. It seems to me at least that there’s kinda an imbalance in power and quantity of magic users between the Sith and the demons of the burning legion.

Though, if I had to say, remember how he looked in dark empire? I imagine it’d be like that, only, with the imperial gear symbol (or the symbol of the Sith, that sun thing with the flames on both sides) and the symbol of the diamond authority inside that. It’s a symbolic... symbol, one that shows their power is inside him. (Also, I imagine this power might also make him look like Asriel Dreemurr, the god of Hyperdeath from Undertale. It’d look really badass I bet!)

He only did that because he wants to keep them there until he can take their power from them. (Gems have a lot of the force in them, and Sidious is looking to take that from the diamonds.)
But yes, it still is insulting for them to be captured and subdued by an organic being, even one as powerful as he is.

BD: “we know what happened! So many gems watched it happen! She was shattered by Rose Quartz and her sword!!!!”
WD: “you cannot tell us what we already know!”
DS: (cackles insanely) “ha ha ha! You fools, even now, at the end, you do not understand. Shall I tell you the truth? I’m sure you’ll like it! I know I had quite a laugh when I found out.”
YD: “YOU SPEAK ONLY LIES!!!!”
DS: “no, not this time, diamonds. For, you see, you have been lied to for thousands of years. Rose Quartz never shattered Pink Diamond...”
(He pauses, all the diamonds waiting with baited breath, blue looking sad and almost crying, yellow looking enraged, and white looking disgusted. And his lips curl into the most evil sinister smile he’s had since he killed all the Jedi, and bested Yoda)
DS: “...Because, Rose Quartz IS PINK DIAMOND!!!!!”
