We’re working on it, not sure what that’d look like honestly. (Though I was thinking a being of pure shadow and darkness with with glowing red eyes in the middle of this horrifying thing’s face! Hey I have an idea for a speech he could make when he absorbs their power ad even though it was from the really bad live action He-Man movie there was this line that skeletor said after he got the Powers of Grayskull and makes himself into a god like beingwhich for such a bad movie had a really good Villains speech and I think when Palpatine absorbs the Diamonds Power it should be a speech like this.Yes... I feel it, the power... fills me. Yes, I feel the universe within me! I am... I am a part of the cosmos! The power flows... Flows through me! ...Of what consequence are you now? This planet, these people. They are NOTHING to me! The universe is power! Pure, unstoppable POWER! and I am that force! I am that power! KNEEL BEFORE YOUR MASTER! Fool! you are no longer my EQUAL! Yeah, he totally would. I do just think though that, if he does get all that power, how would anyone be able to stop him? We’re talking about a guy who pretty much became a god of darkness and ultimate evil power. How do you beat a guy like that?

(He then reaches out with the force, and begins to squeeze blue diamond’s gem, who starts to look like she's in great pain)
YD: “what… What are you doing, You Monster?!?!?”
DS: “only what must be done. Isn't that what you said when you broke your another of your sisters?”
(He continues to grip Blue’s gemstone harder and harder, and it looks like it's nearly about to shatter)
DS: “you have a choice here, Gem. Either you confess everything you have done wrong to your subordinate gems through this device, about how you shattered pink diamond with rose’s sword (points at a hologram recorder) forever breaking your control over the gems you have ruled so long, or you allow blue diamond to be shattered. But then, you already have broken one diamond to achieve your own ends, you should be perfectly alright with another being broken forever!!”

DS: (Laughs) “you truly believe that? That the universe cares about what you think? That your order and your kind is the only one that can and should exist?! You are beyond foolish to think that! The only thing that matters in this universe is power. It does not matter what kind of being has it, all that matters is that they have it! And you have a great deal of power, and you exercise it no doubt. But in the end, you are slaves to your own way of thinking, to believing that your society is the only way the universe can and should be!”
BD: “isn’t that what you think too?”
DS: “Perhaps, but the difference, my dear blue diamond, is that I am willing to do what you cannot, and what the Rebels will not. Your society never changes, but I have evolved my empire into something that will continue to grow and change into something more powerful than any gem or organic can fathom.”

Btw three things:
1_ Do you think that after the Diamonds get captured the most loyal gems to them will send troops and attack the Empire to recover them at all costs?
2_ I actually find your SW/SU pretty interesting and I'd like to see more chapters cause the only thing I found on Fanfiction is ch.1.
3_ I actually have my own SU prequel-ish headcanon where the Gems used to co-exist with an all male Mineral alien race called the Metals. So far i've done some Metal characters but I'm thinking of making some comics and even write a story about it and i'd like your opinion about it please.

Sounds kinda cool, the story with the metals that is. And it's possible they'd go and get them, but they might be kinda outmatched by the empire at that point, as they'd been warring with them for a few years, and neither side gained any real ground until now. Meaning they might have to get the help of the rebels to do so. (And I apologize for not having more than one chapter done, me and my co-authors have been working at it for a while now.)
