I don't know why I keep coming back to brown, I really hate the color in real life, it isn't even really a color of course, just some drabby mix of colors. I never wear anything brown, mostly black and blue, sometimes red, but I'm present enough already as I am, and me wearing red tends to push other people over the edge, so I don't wear it that often. Only when I want to push people over the edge for some reason. Brown is a very rooted color of course, there's a certain peace or acceptance in it, like when you've reached a point where you can't go any lower than you already have. If I had/took more time to dedicate to my "art", I might venture into the world of color a bit more.

now i wear only black, for many reasons (one might think black makes him invisible) but i used to like brown.
this very same shade of brown in this image of yours. the muted brown in all its variations. acceptance you say...
but i also liked all colors. well, besides mustard and burgundy
but you do "venture" into color a lot! did you mean intellectually? the theory of it or the why of it?
inΒ art i always try to stay away from my usual esthetic appreciations of colors. it would be too limiting if i only made images as i would do my interior design, no? i've became so shy in my life, don't want to become so in my art.
but i don't have to chose, unfortunately.
i can try, that's all.

Just an expression like "interior design" makes me feel like such a barbarian/peasant. I might as well go live in a box. My living room is predominantly brown. Nicotine brown
I lack the capacity of theorizing about my "art". I do sometimes wish I had that fascination. I don't care a lot about why's in general. I don't think I have ever wondered WHY I exist, What a pointless question!
I find it hard to imagine you as shy, but I'll take your word for it

yes, great, me too. i hate when someone asks me why! usually because i have no idea. and also because i don't care.
i sometimes felt obliged to invent something. just to get rid from too much conversations about the subject.
my therapist told me yesterday that i don't like confrontations!!
i thought of you Β i wanted to tell her not everybody thinks so!
Β
oh, i am much more shy than before, i am shy, what do you think!!

I don't think you're shy or even insecure, I think you know very well when you're at your most vulnerable and you know you must keep a low profile. It's actually a very sensible and gracious thing to do (as opposed to the way in which some people, when they feel vulnerable, will set up a big theatre show which they hope will make them seem invincible, while in reality it only makes them look pathetic and ridiculous). You and I might have something in common there after all
