Beautiful work! I certainly thought about the supernatural things or something like that! The world behind the mirror.

I should add that, in the most optimistic of scenarios, maybe great artists can see (and for a brief moment make us see) what's going on behind the mirror as well. At an everyday functional level we humans are constantly trying to make sense of our environment, trying to understand what's behind the phenomena we witness, in order to gain at least the illusion of a degree of control. Maybe the ultimate task of an artist is to NOT try and make sense of what they see, in other words, to let go of this urge to control, which is of course extremely difficult and scary. This would then indeed open up a range of new and different "modes of perception". Just a thought

Your thoughts reminded me of how I tried to imagine the boundaries of our Universe as a child, it always frightened me Now I think it is much simpler, we just chose the wrong way for the interpretation trying to explain it by earthly laws.

I don't think the Universe has a size, although I don't think it has an infinite size either. Infinite is a human invention. It is the running sore of mathematics. As a word, "infinite" is very easy to pronounce, as a concept it is impossible to imagine. As such it is basically a placeholder for "I have no idea". That's probably the only correct answer to the question of how large the Universe is: "I have no idea". That's how large it is. Exactly

comments.deviantart.com/1/6914…  Perhaps it's more of a polarizing filter than a mirror. In any case, one that limits our view to a well-defined subsection of Reality. Mathematicians can see through it, but only in a very procedural way. Apart from their ability to follow the rules of mathematical logic towards places where humans normally can't go, their visual imagination is still very much limited to what everyone else gets to see. No one can truly imagine five dimensions, or see Reality in any other way than one based on the perception of time. Unless perhaps after we leave this world

I do not have mathematical logic and I certainly do not think about measurements when I contemplate something, especially in art. Probably, the laws of another world can be beyond measurement. People are always refer to geometry, physics and laws of mathematics, but who knows what is outside our world. We can only guess it.  I always think about the world of insects that coexist with us, no doubt they see things differently

"who knows what is outside our world. We can only guess it"

That's indeed basically the same as what I just wrote about the exact size of the Universe being "I don't know"
