Biography: Born as the son of the proud templar family Schwarz in germany, the boy was being trained to live up the unrealistic expectations of his clan at an early stage. He was thaught combat, philosophy and medicine by his father and when he became 21, the young man was shown the order of the templar. Honour and vision impressed him and he decided to become a templar himself, bringing order to a chaotic, wounded world.

For the following 17 years Fausto travelled all around europe, from london over munich to paris, working both as local medic and executor for the templars. Following this he settled down in italy to monitor the especially active brotherhood in this area and assumed the fake name Fausto Giachetti. He was the contractor of the Cianci familiy and lead a hospital in florence.

It was mainly due to him that the templars could obtain the divina commedia from verona in 1512. Afterwards, he claimed said book for himself, keeping it safe. He read it whole and is fascinated by the hell depicted, admiring Dante Alighieri despise the fact he was allied with the assassins.

During the great hiatus, Fausto staged the assassination of the templar master Delacroix to let his martyr death reignite the cinder that once was the raging fire of war between the two factions. He then took the old masters place.

The images of the books Inferno creeping in his mind combined with the recent loss of his right arm made Fausto go grim and radical. After suffering a heart attack and having a near death experience, Fausto has lost near to all sense for joy in life. He continues to loose grip as his motivation in life shifts from wishing to better the world by aiding the templars to eradicating all assassins.

Additional information:
- Has myopia (can see ~2 metres without glasses).
- Experiments on humans. Has a bunch of rotting corpses in the basement he only sporadically burns. His workplace is sorrounded with flies, giving him the nickname Beelzebub.
- Very physically strong and can endure pain well.
- Prefers close combat by holding the enemy down by the throat, followed by stabbing them in the chest.
- After a fatal encounter Faustos right arm was amputeed and replaced with a Claw. It has both claw like blades and a Hidden Blade like needle in its centre. (see "Claw": assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/… )
- Unable to climb. The age is getting the better of him, his stamina is comparably low.
