Small critique, right now her colors make her looks more like flutteryshy. Try adding a layer on top of orange and mauve and set them to color or multiply and lower the opacity to easily give her more true colors. Hope this helps and keep up the great work <3

To be honest I think it's more so the lighting from being above the clouds de-saturating her colours to show how bright it is up there.
A fair critique nonetheless, just thought I'd add my own hypothesis on the reason behind it.

Seriously though, Surf And/or Turf proved without a doubt that she's actually a penguin. Terry Pratchett explained it best: "The second dumbest bird in the world. Can only fly underwater." (PTerry explained everything best, except for the things he never bothered to explain)

Though, as horrible as it sounds, I hope she will never fly. Even with her handicap she's a loved and respected and valuable member of society and that's a beautiful message.

I agree. I don't wish anything but the best for her, but I love the moral that even if there are some things you can't do, it doesn't make you any less awesome. Still, this is an uplifting piece. Well done!
