To be honest this is my first time doing this on DA but oh well.
The vision is good, displaying a powerful emotion without fail. Her form and pose are interesting and remind me of the old drawings of Celtic mythical creatures such as the Faery, who akin to their parents were part changeling.
Though that is only a coincidence it charmed me enough to actually write my first critique. (Also I can't really say its original, this kind of pose has been done before)
Her expression is truly wild while somehow managing to retain an element of above animal intelligence, allowing her to appear even more menacing, which leads me to your technique which is more than satisfactory.
Her mane is absolutely stunning and to be frank that is my favorite feature, it gives her even greater depth as a predator, which to me is her strongest characteristic. It appears bright and luminous and shrouds her darker body in its shadow, nice job there!

OK, you have carpet bombed me with this drawing, it's possibly the best Chrysalis fanart ever! The eyes, the wings, the horn and of course mane & tail with that sharpy, blady touch. I can see that her crown shall not be touched by anypony, ever.

The thief knew he had really done it this time.
The thief fled across the wastes of the badlands, running for dear life. Behind him, he could hear her pursuer closing in. It wasn't an army, or even a small swarm, as he would expect - just one Changeling, flying after her, furious beyond mortal terms, The air around her body was simmering with heat and aglow with power. Her horn and eyes blazing with eldritch energies, fueled by energy from the entire hive, channeling into her, and her own demented rage.
"Steal my crown would, you insolent little NOTHING!?!" Queen Chrysalis screamed, in her Royal Changeling Voice, the volume of it dazing the thief slightly and its echo could be heard for miles, "I shall obliterate you! I will destroy everything you hold dear for your insult!"
She hurled a dozen green fireballs towards the pony galloping for his life, in her rage she didn't even bothered to aim. One missed him by just several metres, and he stopped as the ground in front exploded, just outside the blast radius, he galloped left to dodge another hitting the canyon wall, and waved through the rain of rocks and debri falling around him.
"I shall find your family, and slaughter your bloodline! I will turn your children into my Changeling slaves!" The enraged queen kept screaming, "I will remake you with the darkest arts into my little toy, one of countless playthings in my collection, that I can twist and break for my pleasure!"
The pony tried to flee through one of the branching passageways, but Queen Chrysalis had anticipated it - a blast of an arcane beam swept across the rock face and caused it to collapse, blocking it with a mighty crash of rubble. The pony turned to an alternate passage to the light, but a second too late, and it too was blocked.
"I will have my way with you, in EVERY WAY, I will make you BEG for release..."
One passage remained, and he fled through it. He was panicking now. This was not going according to plan, and even backup plans, none at all. If he could just make it to the border...
"... And you will be DENIED!!"
He came through the other side, only to find the Queen in front of him. He cursed his own foolishness in forgetting she could teleport, but a third blast from her horn blocked the passageway behind him.
He was now trapped, between a Swarm Queen and a hard place.
"When I am through with you," The Changeling queen hissed as she advanced on him, grinning a vicious smile, "The daemons of Tartarus will not even have a soul left to torment."
