Cursed with dark voodoo magic as a foal, Charred now has an incineration touch that results in all organic matter decaying into smoldering ash through prolonged touch. He was also branded with a grim cutie mark as a result of the curse inflicted on him, that represents this disturbing ability.
Charred travels around Equestria exploring ancient ruins and other unexplored and forgotten locations, inevitably smiting monsters that attempt to eat him~

Correct. :3 Flammable inorganic matter can fall victim to his powers too, but it's a slower process, and non-flammable material like rock, stone, pure magic or specially created matter would be immune. Granted unless you're a monster trying to eat him, or are some moronic pony trying to kill him, he's not going to go after you. x3

He has some control over his powers at this point, he's had them for years. If he doesn't want to use them, the only reason they'd harm someone close to him is if he loses his temper or otherwise becomes emotionally unstable over something. Wouldn't need a suit, most of the time.

Totally satisfied with the result, and no worries on the length taken on it, as long as it's the highest quality possible, how long a commission artwork takes is of no importance to me.
