Not how it works, the spell didn't turn Twilight an alicorn that change came from withine. Cadance became an alicorn with neither a spell nor Celestia, the princess found her in that astral plane without knowledge of who she was.

I'mma go out on a limb and be different! Instead of fighting on whether or not I like her as an alicorn, Β I'mma comment on the piece itself! But just to get it out the way...I love alicorn Twilight, and I think she deserves her prize to be among the princesses. That's all I'mma say on that.
Now. This piece looks marvelous. I love the perspective and composition you gave to it The slightly tilted angle gives it a haunting feel. The very subtle traces of a background also make it feel like you are looking through ash and dust or even a very thick intense fog.
The fluid-like almost smokey/watery mix motion of the magic is VERY well done. I think if you wanted to give the impression of her wings being taken from her, making little dusting of purple, almost like they are disintegrating from her body would have added to the piece a bit. But overall. This looks REALLY REALLY good and the commissioner DEFINITELY go their money's worth if not more so!Β

Im sure you saw in the comments, but I am aΒ writer of rather dark stories, and this one happened to be my most famous, as it followed a story that attracted my readers today. the reason I asked for this piece is because of all the scenes in my story that created such a tragic image in my mind, this one happened to be one of the biggest (aside from the image ofΒ Canterlot in ruins) but when I asked for this I didn't think people would turn it into a mass debate over Twilicorn. Ill admit I didn't like her at first but I got over it long before I got to this particular scene in the story.

Twilicorn needs to just not be an issue anymore. She's proven to be the same pony as she has ever been this past season. No title, crown, or wings will probably change that.
It's been 2 YEARS since it happened. People need to get over it already. Talk about something else that hasn't really changed in the show..like why Applejack never seems to get a episode where her family ISN'T involved or something.
I saw what people were saying about your oc and that's kinda messed up to. As someone that has an alicorn oc, it's not fun when people say things about them without, really knowing a backstory or just cause their alicorns. And for the horror you write, A killer alicorn, isn't really all that weird.
I'm just really like the art, so i focused on that. That's what this site is for really. The art.

true, plus I've learned to ignore what people say about my OC's.
I don't force people to read my fic, and I don't feel like arguing with someone who will immediately peg them as a Gary Sue, OP, ect. the only people that I care to talk to about that are my readers, because none of them have said any negative comments about any of my OC's unless of course the number of people who were trying to think of ways that the Main six could use to beat this particular OC lol. but all in all this was my most famous villain and most of the comments that my readers left had the words Truly terrifying or evil in it, which really made me feel good, since that's what I was trying to go for.
but I digress, I wish that some people would just look deeper then what the image seems to be saying and if they have something negative to say, just keep it to yourself. it annoys me that people are leaving such negative comments to this artist when not only was it something I asked for, but he did such an amazing job on it. trust me, EQD isn't an easy site to make it onto. I know, I did it twice. (not stories, Comics)

same here, my stuff just ended there by chance, and the flow through my page nearly drove me crazy. I went from fifty views a day to 30000 and the comments you couldn't even believe. I think that may be one of the reasons I don't do comics anymore.
