Well, to be honest, sometimes, I do feel like starting a flame war. But it is still useless and stupid.
I just don't understand what makes some people hate Twilicorn. What's so wrong in her becoming a princess?

I'll take a gander:
some seem to think that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this fairytale like happily ever after power position and that any changes - seen or unseen- are only improvements, no real chance of any wrong at all
vs
others that dont buy into this fairy tale like outcome as worthy of Twilight's life or purpose, because when you take out the fairytale aspect, you can not get around the fact that to be in this princess like power = you need subjects to rule, which means to order, which means to effectively own in some way or another... which invalidates many reasons to respect or trust the claims of holiness any alicorn princess has- especially those of friendship and love - power doesn't work that way, never will
this is reality slices
and the show was successful for its realism
playing by this realism reveals the unworthy aspect of any princess title and any reason to justify it
or maybe this would be more accurate: "I want Twilight to be my friend, who I met and became Friends with. i never wanted that friendship to be the reason she now has political power over us all- i never wanted her to be my lord- especially when a reason for it beyond someone else's command occurred after the decision was irrevocably made.... and the country that at large knows nothing about her like her friends do throw themselves at her mercy..."
take away the "unicorn is good, princess is better" message that is ultimately there, and Twilicorn would not be such a subject that arouses feelings of waste and betrayal...and desire for retrubution...
this.... is a degree of carelessness that "the Nostalgia critic" contends with.... (in his over the top way to make it entertaining)

Though it isn't in the description, this isn't an insult towards Twilicorn... this was a scene in my story that happened to be the only upside to the tragedy that took place during this chapter. Osiris, (the alicorn attacking Twilight) Sought death for all remaining Alicorn as punishment for both immortality, and his 2 malinia imprisonment. Twilight was the only one spared, but only because she was born a Unicorn.

That sounds pretty tragic, but punishing seems more contradicting than this work of art titling "unworthy alicorn". Your fic sounds interesting, but the sound of it sounds more heart wrenching than "My Little Dashie" & "Past Sins" put together.

well it wasn't the most famous fic on the net but I did get plenty of positive feedback from my readers. most of my stories fall along the lines of tragedy and darkness. Osiris mainly referred to Twilight as a false alicorn because he could tell she had gained her wing through magic rather than birth. his exact words in this feat of rage were, "I rather you live a unicorn, then die an alicorn."

Chad Rocco is a reviewer on the website That Guy With the Glasses/Channel Awesome and does a show called Familiar Faces. He originally used to be a Brony, but after Season 2, he began to complain about the show for little and stupid reasons (Examples are throwing a bitchfit about Luna's dream walking abilities and saying how Wonderbolt Academy was a stupid episode because Spitfire was a drill sergeant), until finally giving up on the show when Twilacorn happened. Even though he stated he was "done" and not going to "talk about the show anymore", he still does so, constantly putting snarky remarks on his tumblr and even posted a response video to the Season 4 finale with it being Butthead saying "This sucks more than I thought". He's like that one guy on this site that hates the Twilacorn thing and literally made a group where the events of Season 3 onward never happened.
