Finally able to post this now that I’ve given away this gift for Christmas.This was my first foray into customization. After months upon months of testing combinations of pigments and plastics got a chance to put this into practical application.
Took a Transformers Prime Vehicon, sanded, inked, and painted it, clear coated, and applied custom decals, and primed again. Added a 3d printed grappling hook to the rifle. And to top things off a removable cape.
The figure and weapon are mounted on plastic. Fully transformable toy but ready for display. The box has a custom interior and exterior for display. Shadowy G1 themed exterior, stylized Cybertron/Batman Beyond interior background.
Once I got this project down I was confident I could print out custom body parts for more complex customized transformers.

Although they've worn capes and cloaks in different media I thought the cape would be a nice touch for the figure. The design of the figure was idea for two small hook that latch the cape onto the frame.
