This is awesome! And Your choice is very good way. It will make You great artist specialized in wolves if You only want and keep this work I guess wolf can be Your spiritual guide. Very strong Totem And very beautiful as well I like wolves too, but my main guide is tiger

Haha And both loving Wolves too ^^ You know I was reading that if You have tiger as a spiritual guide - You have to know something about deer too - because deer gives his life to the tiger, right? so they are connected. I feel deer beside me too, very strongly. Especially white deer - spirit of the forrest. But I was thinking that way about tigers and wolves (Felines and Canines) and they are for me like yin-yang. You know they are somehow connected too. Like living with and without people. Noone can live without others - sometimes we want to be in the group - like wolves. But there are times we want to be alone - like tigers (most of their lives, but they are social animals too ^^ but totally different way than wolves). Sometimes You are more into cat spirit and sometimes more into dog spirit. Do You agree? But I guess the main is one. I feel for me it is totally Tiger, wild cat spirit. I am connected with them whole my life. I heard also that they are animal spirits that come to for some time to help us with something, or they are spirit animals helping us with some type of sytuations. So we can have many Animal Friends in my opinion. What do You think about it?

Interesting, I also like deers and stags, especially^^ (funny how I have a white stag statue next to my computer ) And I totally agree with you... I've always figured I'm half tiger and half wolf (since this drawing ). Sometimes you need contact, and some other times you just can't bear being close to people...
And yeah, there are different types of power animals. You normally have one totem/power animal that will follow you for your whole life and you can have several spirit guides who can teach you important lessons during a difficult time of your life for example, and then leave you.
Do you "talk" to your tiger in your dreams or during meditation ? Just curious

Beautiful deer sculpture I think this is natural to have things like this connected with animal that guides You ^^ I have some things like this too I agree with You totally in things that You wrote. Haha - I am always talking with animals XD these spiritual and these being here with us on Earth as living creatures. I'm still learning their launguage, and Mother's Earth Language too. I think it is very sad that we forgot our natural language, connection with ourselves really. Yes - dreams, meditations, signs, art - these mediums are awesome I like using them all. And what about You?

Indeed, we have still a lot to learn about us and nature^^ I talk to real animals too, I even sound crazy sometimes because of this XD I'll always remember one time in particular: there was a big dog next to my house who used to bark and growl at me when I walked in front of his territory and once, I was so tired of jumping everytime his angry face appeared next to mine through the fence that I looked at him straight in the eyes and said: "I mean you no harm." And the dog just stopped ! He seemed to understand what I said and didn't bark at me as much later on.

Sorry for the random story XD Well, I'm too stressed to be able to meditate but I mostly communicate with my wolf or tiger during dreams, even if they don't appear as much as I want them to :-/ They often contact me when I ask nothing. I hope one day, i will be able to talk to them more because I could do with their advice^^'

This story was awesome! You don't have to sorry for it It was very nice to read it. Haha - that dog understand You! I am sure. Dogs and cats in my opinion understand us better than we understand them. They understand words! If You have a cat or dog You saw if for sure - if You are talking to them about something they like (like going for a walk or meal - they understand words like "walk" "meal", they understand their names - even if they are called in more than one name. Some trained animals understand speech on level of 2 year child (there was science testes about this)! Which is very high level!!! (many words) And we - humans? We just - and only when we love them (so not every human!) - understand their body languages. We don't know what they are saying when they do their voices. So... we still know so so not many things...

As I know - when meditating You should have nothing in Your head (the only meditation I am able to do this is painting, but I am fine with that - I have my meditation some masters say that You meditation can be something what You love doing like singing, dancing, drawing - the most important thing is to be totally in it, as total that You almost disappear, they say "Be doing this" not "do this" but "whole You is doing this" - You know what I mean? I don't know if I am understable now ^^ if not - sorry, just tell me, and I'll try to say it in other way ^^) So I guess meditation is not perfect way to connect with the spirits -> but painting meditation in my opinion is ok To have shamanic visions (quite similiar to meditation from outside, but totally different inside) - the drum is needed. There are "shaman drum" recordings  on YouTube but... it is not the same as real drum. Shamans believe that the drum has a spirit too - so... haha Ya know - circumstances are important here too. So I guess dreams, talking to them like "please show me something this night" is the best way. I like this way very much. And I love signs. I mean just listening to the world around You. It is telling You the way. Showing You even Your guide face Just... open eyes, listen and they will speak. In no-words language of symbols, signs

Ok cool^^ Yeah I was very close to a she-cat and I think she understood me when I told her goodbye, a few months before she died Animals are not as stupid as we think they are and I can't stand people who say "this is just a dog, this is just a cat" etc. They are much more than that.
I understood what you said about drawing and painting as a meditation tool, don't worry... It's true that when I draw, nothing exists except me and the paper and I love the peace I feel at that moment^^ I have tried to make a "shamanic journey" with drums but it didn't work, I am way too stressed -_- But I've been to an Amerindian reunion in France and we used to stay late at night next to the forest listening to indians playing drums and it was magic ! You could feel the beats in your very heart and soul, while the forest was listening to the drums too... Beautiful.
Yeah signs are amazing too ! I never saw wolves before, but since I discovered what my totem was, I see them everywhere ! On TV, clothes, brands, logos, etc. Same thing with tigers

Yes, they are full of understanding. Sometimes I think they are much cleaver than us, only we cannot see it. We are somehow blinded - by technology, our "science", "thinking". Look how many years "white adult rich man" was "the best person on Earth" - he still is... but I hope it is coming to the end now in XXI century... Too many years of treading woman, kids, old people, people "not white", people "not my faith", animals, plants... everything really! like "worse". This is stupid, this is stone age, dark age! This is racism, sexism and specism! But so many people still live within their minds in dark ages being afraid of this that they don't understand... I am so happy to met many people with beautiful open minds - just like You You understand perfectly what I feel - for example to animals. Why I said that maybe animals have wisdom that we don't have (I guess we had it but we have lost it, like we lost our connection with Mother Nature - I guess it is the higest time to be connected again - we are so wise as a spiece that we should see it - I hope there are more people thinking like us...)? Many people call animals "our little brothers", I call them our elder brothers. We are one of the youngest species on Earth! haha! maybe we are just in teenagers rebelion age XDDD
Yes, I know what type of climate You are talking about. I was at shamanic workshops and that connecion with forrest, nature, poeple, inner animal was one of the most incerdible thing in the world. I like feelings like this

We never left the Dark Ages, for sure... Many people are still afraid of everything who cannot be explained by science, so it's easier to say that it doesn't exist or that it is "satanic" or whatever. I even read someone who said that power animals are demons, fallen angels of Lucifer ! LOL
I'm happy I found someone like you to talk about all this Sadly, most people think you're crazy when you start talking about spirits... And yeah, more people should think like us, there would be less problems in this world.

Yes, this is true - we never left Dark Ages. I think this is not about the science. This is about fear. Fear of something hard to understand, unknown, other. People are animals too. Nothing more, nothing less. We are animals. So we have all the mechanisms of all animals. Cat is afraid of vacuum cleaner, people are afraid of "spirits". Same mechanism... "I am afraid cause I do not understand." But some cats are not aftraid of cleaners ^^ If the need to know, to explore is bigger in animal than the fear - here we got place to increase space for knowledge. And... here is a place for science. Some people tried to prove spirituality by science. But we still have no tools. But I think we are close to this. Quantum phisics is like doing science on invisible sooo we are close XD still far away but closer with every step. And there were many people who were great scientists and... believed in God for exaple. God is something that You cannot see, right? Spirits etc is now thing to believe in it or not. I think that if somebody has open mind - no matter if he or she believes in spirits or not - will say "okay, it is Your believe, I accept that". But if somebody is closed - so very aftaid of everything which is not similiar to his or her faith - she or he will tell You that You are barbarian, satanist or whatever and You will go to hell or will not be saved (whatever) - no matter If You are believing in Krishna, Budda, shamanism, paganism, zen, shinto - no matter what! You are not believing in his or her faith. It is his or her problem. I can have Friends who believe whatever they want. And I have such Friends. I have no strict believe. I just believe in things I... believe. You can find here many things ^^ It is my "religion mix" haha XD I add here everything that I agree with it. It is more my point of view than religion. And I accept point of views of the others. I think that - if Your point of view, Your religion or attitude hurts no one - it is okay. No matter what. You can believe in Spagetti for me XD really - it is Your thing ^^ not mine ^^ I like You as a human, as a creature living on Earth. Only thing - it is safe for the others - it is interesting for me only and I am okay with Your views ^^ so I think You can be whatever You want to be and it is nobody's business what You think or believing in This is my opinion. I always try to look this way on this topic

I don't think science and religion are opposed. I just think there will always be things we are too "limited" to understand, and some others that are not explained yet so they are still called "supernatural"^^
And I'm just like you, I don't give a f*ck about people's belief as long as they don't try to convert me and they don't hurt anybody in the name of their deity... Which is very rare. How many wars were and are made in the name of God ? -_-'
I believe in what I feel with my heart and soul, and what I have experienced. You described it very well, it really is a "religion-mix" XD

I think that supernatural things are needed. With no mystery there will be no fun in life ^^ I guess animals like to explore. Even such tiny animals like bees or rats. Rats are awesome explorers And animals are able sometimes to see more than us - human They are very sensitive Yes- believing in what heart and soul feels is always the best Big hugs!!!
