What kind of fabric would I use if I didn't have a spare hoodie?

did the paint start to chip off after a few weeks? did you use a normal acrylic metallic paint over the entire arm? if I where to I dono wear it to a movie theater and get it abit dirty how would i wash it?

Thank You fot Your questions! Acrylic paint is basically something similiar to "liquid plastic" (while painting) which turns into something more solid but still quite elastic (after drying) so - no - I have no problems with this hoodie. I got it for 2 years by now and I am going to wear it in the cinema watching Civil War ^^ Of course I was using professional acrylic paint (good quality) - if You'll use paint like that it should be OK. I used black, white (mixed -> grey) and silver (metallic) paint to make this hoodie

You are welcome! It took me a couple of days - but I also took some breaks between layers of the paint to make it fully dry

Do i need a certan brand of acrylic? i have some old Artist's Loft and REEVES paint that i could use but im not sure if it will work with the fabric. do i need a certan red? i have alot of crimson, brilliant red, and vermillion. update: im going to use Artist's Loft paint and hope for the best. wish me luck!

No, it doesn't have to be one special brand of acrylic. Necessary thing is to use professional acrylic paints cause they have much better quality than school paints. I used Renesans paints. Reeves is also a good professional brand. I don't know Artist's loft (I haven't used them), but if You were satisfied with them in Your previous projects they should be fine as well

Wrote it in the TUTO ^^ It is acrilic paint, You can use also paint to clothes - they are unwashable, especially when You wash it by hand
