Description
This isn't the first time I've drawn Terence and Tumnus like this, and it won't be the last! I've always been a fan of the book by Roald Dahl, and I think both movies are excellent. My family thinks the version with Johnny Depp is extremely weird, and so they stay away from it. If you ask me, I think they're being a little picky. Sure, it's weird, but so is the book. I read that Roald Dahl didn't approve of the Gene Wilder version, but I think he would have approved of the Johnny Depp version.I think I may or may not be related to Roald Dahl, since my mom's side of the family is named Dahl. I can't be sure, but if he really is part of my blood family, wouldn't that be incredible?

Yeah, but which song? They sing more than just one, you know.

This is one of the reasons why I write anti-Twilight songs. It helps refine my talent as a lyricist.

Aww...poor Tumnus. Probably thinking, Why must have the color of Wilder's hair? Why!?
This is great. I like both versions of the movie, so it would be hard to choose. Johnny was good as the role of Wonka, going from pirate to chocolatier.
Great job.

I thought the Depp version was pretty cool. It was definitely better than I expected, and I liked it enough to get the DVD.

Me too. For me the songs of the first are better.
The elevator scene in the 2nd is my favorite, 'cause of the humor Johnny brings when he hits it.
The 2nd cast was good.
When the 2nd movie was coming out I was happy to have a Wonka bar. Now I miss them, along with the Donutz. ;_;

I love it! Terence`s expression is perfect!
I drew a boatload of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this afternoon ( inking right now). I started doodling Augustus when I got home ( Ich will Schokolade!!!!!! ) And after he was done, I kept drawing more charchters.
I love both versions as well as the book. But my mom hates the Depp version. Oh well.

I was never that into the story or either of the movies. I feel the original film is more of a classic and a bit light hearted, but from what I recall of the book the Tim Burton film actually followed the plot of the book more than the first movie.

Yep, Tim Burton and Johnny Depp got far closer to Roald Dahl's quirkiness than the other guys ever dared to venture.

I'll say that'd be incredible. Is your mom's side of the family from Norway? If so, then your chances of being related to Mr. Dahl have gone up.
I love Terence's expression; he just seems to fit into his role perfectly. Tumnus looks properly disgruntled, but he looks just as handsome. ^^

I don't think so. And thanks! I can't decide which expression I like most. Terence is all slick and suave, while Tumnus is, as you say, "properly disgruntled".

I find it funny that Roald Dahl didn't like the Gene Wilder version . . . since he wrote the screenplay for it himself They must have really messed it up.
(that's my fav version anyway
)
That said, Tumnus is rocking that suit

Well . . . I have to agree that the oompa-loompa songs were annoying, but my husband found them annoying in the book too. He just finished reading it to the kids and every time the oompa-loompas started I'd hear "OH not another one!"
