I think it's a good idea to keep your old art and your new art. When you look at your old art, even though it can make you cringe, you see how far you've come over time, and what you can still improve on. It's a healthy exercise.

Both Tumnus and Terence look very stylish in those threads.
I've yet to see the Depp version, I just love the origianl one so much.

The Depp version is pretty cool. I was a bit skeptical of it at first, but after I saw it in the theaters with my friend, we both ended up enjoying it; and later I bought myself a copy of the DVD.
It's a little quirkier than the first movie. It's a little more crazy, creepy, bizarre, and while there is some singing, it's not what you'd call a musical. But the visual effects are amazing, the colors are dazzling, the costumes are a riot, and Johnny Depp actually performs his part quite well. And Christopher Lee's in it, too! (He plays Willy Wonka's dad, who is a dentist, believe it or not.) I suggest you watch the movie at least once, maybe twice. At least give it a try.
While Veruca's not the screaming brat that she is in the first movie, she's still pretty spoiled (I wanted to slap her more than once), and I didn't care for the other kids much, with the exception of Charlie, of course. Violet's pretty stuck-up, and Mike was the worst. I really wanted to strangle him, even though I knew it was just acting. But overall, the movie's still worth a watch.
I might do a sequel to this picture.

I like the first Willy Wonka film better, coz the songs are nice

My sister can't stand the second movie, and clings to the first one instead. Funny thing is, she loves Johnny Depp. (She idolizes him as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean.) But she claims Willy Wonka in the 2005 version doesn't look anything like him!
Me, I like both movies. Like I've said, they're special in their own way.
