I have the original VHS still. It's so haunting and eerie, yet so beautiful and innocent. I still cry when I watch it.

Thank you. Her mane and tail were a lot of fun to draw. It was actually doing the lighting effect on the horn that gave me the toughest time. I actually hadn't seen the movie or read the book at all until just a few years ago. Now, I own both the book, and the 25th anniversary edition of the DVD! The DVD is not too spectacular, but a whole lot better than that old DVD that everyone's complaining about. For one thing, the picture and the sound are considerably better, not as many scratches and the images are sharper and cleaner. And it's in widescreen format, so you get everything; and best of all, it has something that never came with the first DVD: bonus features!!!
