After watching this wet princess for a time, Terence decides to get wet alongside her.

Like I said, unicorns already know how to swim very well, and it's one of the few genuine pleasures Terence has. After he becomes human, he can still enjoy swimming; in some ways, the sensation is better than ever.

And that love of water carries on through the generations. There's always at least one member of each generation that's always in the water.

Romulus used to love swimming before he was scared off (and got that passion back), and even then, Tallis loved the water and you already know how Reid feels about the water. Mason always liked the water okay but learns to love it more through Reid and Tracy.

It's thanks to Terence that they've got the shells, but Terence would have totally envied Reid for his discovery of the "water mask."
