haha, i'm having my mom
buy me some ingredients -
i found a recipe on how to
make cold pottery! ah, the
wonder that is the internet...
xD so i'm going to start
making my own sculptures.
i've tried using clay that you
have to bake, but never cold
pottery. how long can you
work with it before it starts
to dry?

well, anyway:
thanks a thousand times for
the tutorial, and all your
sculptures are /really/ cute!
:3 good job!

I'm working with bakers clay because I couldn't find any air dry clay at the walmart (since that's the only place with any kind of art supplies I know of around here)
And I must say, this helped me out, but I'm having trouble keeping such a smooth surface because I seem to leave finger prints on my figures, or when I try to smooth it out with somethin, it leaves a strange imprint on them that I don't want it to have.

Any tips for that?
(look in my gallery to see what I've done)

Hahah it's bizzare that in some places they have like totally different things! I mean I work in an art supply shop and the only air-dry clay I've ever come across in all our catalogues is like actual potters clay which is all gooey and scary!!
But thank you for all your help and advice, looking at your work has really inspired me!
