As soon as I saw this figure was coming out I planned to paint one in metallic G1 colors and one like this- just a metal robotic bug.Since there was only one in the store, I did this first.
Though obviously the main color is gunmetal with dry brushed steel, there are actually 9 colors on this guy altogether. Mostly in small details.

Looking back, this Insecticon fits as one the pesty minions in the Game Fall of Cybertron.

You know I've been looking and looking at this figure in the stores, and everytime I seem it, I am drawn to it but never buy it.
However, after seeing you "gunmetal" Insecticon, it made me think that if it had another pair of legs, it could serve as a Cybertronian form of Beast Wars "Tarantulas!"

Damage? You mean the odd shaped circle on his chest? I thought it was just made that way but now that I look at the figure closer, I think you are right...
