I was disappointed that his right arm didn't have much flexibility and that those claw parts dosen't fold like covered his cannon as well like the instruction and toys shows.

Great megatron! I love the fingers...so they are just made out of epoxy huh? Astonishing, but id be afraid of them breaking. Are they very fragile? Also where do you buy such tiny ball joints?

No ball joints. I just emulated the ball joint look. The fingers dont actually move but the piece that gives the illusion of jointed fingers is detachable so his transformation is not hindered.
The epoxy hand attachment is not all that fragile. The type I used dries to become somewhat bendy rather than breakable.

Actually I used the last of it and tossed the package away a few days ago so I don't know what the brand was called. It was 2 sticks though, one black and one gray.
Now I'm using Apoxie Sculpt.

Yep. I'll be disappointed if the release "premium" versions of the toys again for ROTF later. The blatant marketing ploys that screw over fans really get on my nerves.

On making the hand piece? I just formed generally what I wanted for the forearm out of epoxy, stuck it on and formed it a bit, then added the fingers I had also made. I made the fingers in several individual parts and let it all dry overnight.
Added little joints with balls of epoxy that I smushed with a magical special tool so they'd look joint-like. The joints cover up where I added the fingers to the arm attachment.
The forearm part was designed to look fairly natural on his arm while being both sturdy when attached and easily removable. I formed the fingers using a cd to shape and cut until I had pieces that later went together with glue and extra epoxy.
Made the little shoulder piece too then painted them both to match the rest of Megatron's paint job.
