Dear lawrd this is one cool figure, although it is also yet another one where it is sad to see such a great design get so few paint apps for my $30. Far off from the version we first saw when the figure was first unveiled.As I often do, I spread around the existing color scheme, considering what Hasbro might have been going for based on his existing colors to try and make him look more like how I think the designers would have wanted him to look. No clue whether he will look much like this in the show, but I doubt he will just be black with little yellow lights like we saw in the BH teaser.
It may not look like much unless you have the figure in hand to look at, but I put about 8 hours into this fella.

I just got this figure the other day, so I can tell, DAMN THAT IS A LOT OF AWESOME PAINTWORK
The additions to the dragon head cannon things make them look so much better! As does the work on the claws.
Sadly the nub on the joint for one of the rear dragon legs on mine came all shaved off and useless, so it keeps falling off...so I just keep him in robot mode.
Still an awesome figure...I totally wanna get that Ultimate-Class one too when it comes out...

Have you tried adding a couple of thin layers of superglue or clear nail polish to that loose ball joint on Predaking and let it dry before reattaching? That usually tightens them up well enough.

I too agree this is one very cool figure. I love the slight twist in his transformation. Pun Haha. This is how it should have come from Hasbro.

I agree so much it hurts. Hasbro has been making cheaper figures with less color details and charging us 50% more for them. Probably why sales have dropped so badly.
While it does keep me busy and I appreciate that plenty, I am also a fan of Transformers and expect more for my money whether I can fix it myself or not.

and i really love your paint applications to him
I plan to do a similar thing to mine but need to get some burnt orange plastic model paint
because he could use some tweeks in that area
really love the more black you added to him, makes him look all the more deadlier

Sounds like you already know I'd be a dummy to use enamels. Yep, acrylics on the rubbery parts.

Personaly I find the extra two heads unessicary, now don't get me wrong they look way better then before. but I dunno, he looks better as a one headed dragon. *shrugs* great work as usual!

Yeah I think I agree, but once I read that they were semi-sentient weapons that can burn whole worlds and only he can control them, they got a LOT cooler to me.
A little reason can go a long way with me.

none the less, I can't wait to see this guy on screen, Hopefully they give him a good story and character. (god help us if Michael Bay was behind this show he'd be like Shockwave)
