ALOE FINAL APPRENTICE ASSIGNMENT: The apprentice in question needs to outwit Chara and steal the sapphire from her without attacking her.

Even before he was told the rules to the test, Aloe knew he wasn't going to fight Chara.

Glancing down the lynx cheetah hybrid, there was many things not in his favour. Despite being the oldest of his siblings, he was scrawny and frail. His mentor had helped him train his mind to outwit his enemies due to this. Illness also plagued him constantly. Most important to Aloe though, was the fact that he was lazy. The tom could admit it: when corners could be cut, he was there. How though could he capture a sapphire from a lioness without confrontation?

Simple; he would let her walk straight into his paws.
As the distance between them grew, he would be further out of sight. Then he would be in a much better place to get in front of her. True, keeping such a distance and trying to get around her would take longer; however it meant he didn't have to worry about conflict. Some camouflage and scent covering and he should be fine!

At least, that had been his plan.
Chara upon losing sight of him had moved to higher ground where there was less cover to hide behind. Aloe had to admit he should have come up with a Plan B as of course his leader would figure out Plan A - she had done loads of apprentice exams by now! But what could he do...?

He could wait it out. If she was moving up the mountain so he couldn't sneak up on her, then he would make sure that when she came down he was there. It wasn’t much, but he was going to stick to it.
He could do it. He was going to win.
