TWO - Sleeping at Last

It didn't take an intelligent mind to figure out something had changed.

It began with disappearances; changes in the normally monotonous routine they all cycled through in the city. Matea just... wasn't around anymore - or if she was, it wasn't the same places as Mamela had seen her before.
The leopard was always busy with work herself, and since encountering Matea and Morph, now also had a few new friends to keep in touch with as well - it just seemed like she never had the time to try and track down the Jaguar wherever she was.

It seemed like moons later, but finally the she-cat reappeared. Initially the leopard felt elation in her chest that she was still ok and hadn't been taken by the slasher. It was only a brief encounter... but something was definitely wrong. Maybe not wrong? It was hard to tell with the stoic feline's composure... however something had definitely changed.

She nearly just let Matea walk by.
Mamela couldn't quite describe it, but it was almost like she was scared to find out something bad had happened - as in some way that would mean she failed as a friend for not keeping in touch.

The small amount of sympathy the leopard had won over though, stirring her to action. Hopefully she wouldn't be too late.

Not entirely neatened but I had this idea after the comic with Matea's cubs and I FELT AN URGE TO GET IT DONE BUT ALSO TO DO IT FAST AS I HAVE SO MUCH TO DO. I hope you like it Mustang <3

Being real though: This song is great in particular as it isn't actually a love song despite what it sounds like haha - the album is about different personality types and this song was about the type of people who are constantly reaching out to help others, but at the same time pushing down their own problems instead of fixing them.

I promise the next picture will be one of my owed pieces lol XD
