Try to maintain inertia. By which I mean, there are few points in this where a character is moving really fast, but then they suddenly slow down for no real reason. An example is after Parada dodges Yang's explosive shells and rushes towards her, she suddenly slows down, where as Yang comes into the same shot at normal speed. Basically, everything in the shot should follow the same flow of time.

Actually...that shot was meant to show just how fast Yang was compared to Karada thanks to the boost she got with her semblance. Have you ever seen those moments that show high speed characters going so fast the opponent looks like he's in slow motion while they are in normal speed. A good example is the Justice League trailer with the flash.
The same thing can be said when the Rocks are falling down around Karada's face, there not moving in slow-motion because of gravity or inconsistency, where just seeing her perception of time. But I see how that can be confusing so I'll try adding more frames at that moment to capitalize on it.

I see, in that case a good way to emphasize "instant movement" is to actually lower the amount of frames used for the movement. Doing so result in a warp-like effect, that creates the illusion of movement faster than the eye can track.
