Jimmy - you need to calm down. This was a great review. Just because you personally don't care about avatar and doing this particular photoshop exercise for fun doesn't mean that others don't. There is no reason to criticize anyone here. Rather, people should be applauded for showing interest in doing some creative alterations. You are welcomed to look elsewhere if a certain page offends you. There is no reason at all for you to be so offensive.

Their faces kinda remind me of a lions. With the broad flat nose bridge and wide set eyes.

Oh holla at this tutorial! I love that you pointed out the eyes and ears.
I've noticed in a lot of the manips they keep the eyes and ears in the same place as when they are human. It's quite obvious that the eyes are far apart and the ears are much higher. Also in a Na'vi avatar they have eyebrows. In an actual Na'vi they don't have hairy eyebrows, just stripes. I see a lot of people get that wrong.
But anyways! Great tut! Explains the placement of everything very well!

Great tut. just wanted to add some stuff, don't know if you've been told already but here it goes:
- the Avatars have 5 fingers on each hand while the Na'vi only has 4.
- the Avatars seem to have hairy eyebrows while the Na'vi don't have any at all, Neytiri does have those "tiger stripes" indicating a sense of eyebrows thou.

another one should be added that the Na'vi don't have nipples, and their breast (if that's what you want to call them) are small

Well, i can agree that their chest is small....but one part in the movie, you get a nipple shot. So yes they do, but they are indeed small,small enough not to be noticed.

I realized I keep forgetting to put the ears above my own ears but with just picture angels alot of time my ears slow, next time I need to cover my ears so I can manipulate it better

Ah, this was very helpful. I was afraid to draw a Na'vi because I could never get the ears in the proper place, and the profile was very hard to draw. >_< So thank you for posting, because this helped me a LOT.

But i hope to see it once more, without the 3D crap really xD
