Description
Long time since I did something Media Controls related--
Anyway, this is kind of a reference sheet for DATA, the inhabitants/common people of the Media Cntrols world.
Rules for the designs:
-They are based on 1's and 0's, and usually has stripes, cubes or circles on their body/clothes.
-They should be based on squares or circles, or a mix of both.
-They are also monochromatic, so no mixing two or more colors together.
-They have always two eyes, but no pupils/irises.
-They can have black and/or white in their design, but only a small amount, since they are supposed to be colorful and look different from Controls.
Info:
-They have normal lives, jobs, hobbies and so on.
-DATA can't respawn, so if they die, they die for good. That's why they need Controls to protect them.
-They are commonly very simple-minded. They don't seem to have too complex personalities.
-As for the names, they can be named whatever. Normal human names work.

Hm... when I saw first DATA concept, I imagined they are controls but more strict, don't fight(because no abilities), don't work so much. And they are more like people than controls

Of course there's exceptions. But let's say they're never at the same level as a Control.

how important are the Datas to the point the controls would have to keep them safe at all costs.

Well, because they are the citizens, they do pretty much everything. They build the buildings, keep things running etc... Without them, the city and/or the System wouldn't function/evolve.

Is it possible to have corrupted data to be like, y'know, criminals or something?
Or is it just regular data?

So far I haven't thought about any corrupted data. But now when I think about it, they should be able to be corrupted because of the glitches. But it's just them being sick. They won't become "evil".
But yeah, there can be mean spirited DATA. Just like there are different kind of humans as well.

The controls look so hardcore and ready to FITE, I was not expecting how a d o r a b l e data would be! I want to hug them all Q^Q
Also I noticed that some are square based and some are circle based in shape. Is that simply a design choice or does it have to do with personality or type of data or am I just overthinking it? Prroooobably overthinking it.

Well, as I wrote in the description, it's just because they are supposed to be based on 1's and 0's.
But the personality can be anything really.
