Before you start flaming on me, yes I know recoloring is bad and you shouldn't do it.ΒI did this because I wanted to try how real I can make this look, also, this was kind of a fake screenshot practice/study. And just for fun!
Before I joined deviantART I used to recolor a lot. (I never submitted them online though.) That's how I got into digital art. And That was pretty much 10 years ago. Man... I recolored until i felt comfortable in my skills and moved onto bases and eventually started drawing from my head. And look where I am now! Haha...
So if you recolor, that's totally ok, just don't post them online. Use recoloring as practice, don't actually think recoloring is drawing, because it's not.Β

For this being a re-made screen cap, this came out fantastic! It looks 100% legit, pretty much Silver taking over Sonic's position XD Yeah, I understand how re-coloring is not considered art and all, but you made an exceptional message in the description, allowing this one to slide. Great work!

There's some practical uses for recolouring as a learning tool.Β And there were plenty of people that wanted to see another season of SonicX with Silver in it, so no complaints here!

I know recoloring is bad too, by this is too good looking. o.o I used to recolor myself, but tracing is how I got my art how it looks today...heck, even my boyfriend used to trace.
