We laid Kimmie on the couch and my mom started fanning her, occasionally patting her cheek and saying her name. I didn't blame the girl for passing out like that. I mean, it was absolutely ridiculous of my mom for suggesting something like that! Kimmie being my girlfriend? Hah! Now that's a good joke! I rubbed my temple, feeling a headache coming. I didn't know if it was either from the head injury or from all this crazy stuff my mom was making us do.

"See what you've done?"

"Gabby, I think that this would be the perfect opportunity for you to finally find someone."

I gave her a weird look like she was crazy. Which she was. "Hold up, hold up! You really want me AND Kimmie to get together?!" I laughed. "Mom, you weren't paying attention? Kimmie and I are ENEMIES!"

She sighed and stopped fanning the passed out hero. "She can change you, Gab, I know it."

"Okay, what if I didn't want to change? Ever thought about that?"

"Gabrielle what is wrong with you?" she asked, standing up from her kneeling position. "I didn't raise you like this! You're different now."

"What are you talking about? I've always been like this!"

"No you haven't. Not the Gabrielle I gave life too," she shook her head with a frown. "The Gabrielle I knew was never like this. She would always-"

"Stop it," I said.

Thankfully she closed her mouth because Kimmie groaned. I looked at my mom and saw that her sad face was staring at the Possible family pictures that hung on the wall. I knew that it reminded her of us, and how our family could have been if it weren't for the comet or if I hadn't joined the bad guys. The family reunion, in a way for her, was a way to make that become a reality. And when the next year comes, we'll just keep going around and around like this. I hated this merry-go-round. It wasn't so merry anyways.

"Look," I said, "We'll make a deal. If me and Kimmie go to the family reunion, will you leave me alone? And I mean alone, as in not going around the world to find me just to attend family reunions."

My mom looked at me with wide eyes that seemed to brighten at the deal. She stared at me for a long time before making her decision. "Deal."

Kimmie didn't wake for about an hour, and when she did, she was very confused. But that wasn't all. My mom had decided that she should take her leave and dump the explaining on me.

"I'll see you at the reunion!" with that, she left the Possible residents with a pissed off me and an even more confused Kimmie.

"I'm...going?"

"Yup," I said, glaring at the door. "And you're going to be my girlfriend."

THUD!

"Damn it Kimmie! Stop passing out!"

I tried fanning her and calling her name, I even shouted but she didn't respond. Not even slapping the girl worked. She was knocked out cold. With an annoyed roll of my eyes I gave up. I looked at the clock and saw that it was late and I didn't feel like hearing Dr. D's mouth abut me returning so late. Besides, tomorrow afternoon we had to be at the reunion. I shrugged my problems away as I became sleepy, and settled on the chair, gradually and finally falling asleep.

I awoke to the smell of coffee. I furrowed my eyebrows and wondered sleepily why Dr. D was making coffee in my room. Then I remembered that I wasn't back at the lair. I opened my eyes and saw Kimmie curled up on the couch with a cup of coffee in her hands.

She me a smile before gesturing to another cup on the table. "Better drink it before it gets cold," she told me.

I stretched my stiff body and gratefully drank the coffee. I pondered about how I was going to break the news to Kimmie. I wasn't entirely sure that she got the memo about the reunion since she passed out last night.

"So I'm going?" she asked me.

I nodded, taking a sip of my coffee.

"And I have to be..."

"My girlfriend? Yup."

"Yeah..."

Silence.

"I don't remember saying that I would go," she said.

"You didn't," I set the cup on the table and got comfortable. Now came the hard part. Explaining. "My mom and I made a deal."

She continued to stare at me, urging me to continue.

"If you and I went, then she would stop looking for me every year to force me to attend the family reunions."

She stared. And stared for a long time. Yeah, I'm not very good at explaining things without being sarcastic.

"So basically, you're being selfish."

Those words had stung for some reason, but now that I thought about it, it was true. I was only thinking about myself. I made the deal without Kimmie's consent and now she was pissed. Nice Shego.

"Listen-"

"I don't think that there really is much to listen to, Shego," she said curtly. "You told me that you made a deal without my knowledge. Did you even think that I even wanted to attend? You're so selfish!"

I glared at her. "Does it look like I want to go either? I just want to be left alone but I can never be alone because my pesky mother keeps tracking me down just to make me go! This is my chance to finally cut my ties with my family!"

"That's exactly what I'm talking about!" Kimmie exclaimed. "You just admitted that you're being selfish and doing this just for you! And you could have just gone yourself without dragging me along. It's your problem, not mine!"

"So what if I'm being selfish? I can be whatever I want to be!"

"Oh really? Then that means I can be whatever I want to be too! I won't go!"

I jumped to my feet, astounded. "What?!"

She got to her feet also, facing me. "You heard me. I'm not going!"

"Now you're really being really annoying!" I said, getting in her face with a heated glare.

"Good! Because that's what I was aiming for!" she pushed me. "Get out of my face!"

I stumbled back, but caught myself. With a growl I pounced her and tackled her to the floor. We wrestled and rolled, throwing punches and pulling hair. Why'd she have to be such a butt?! Why couldn't she just go to the reunion and pretend to be my girlfriend?! She's so stubborn! We got to our feet, and I pushed her into the wall, causing the picture frames to fall to the floor.

"You're messing up my house!"

"Like I care!"

I ignited my hand and brought it up, aiming to punch her face, but she moved her head aside and instead I punched a hole in the wall. She slipped from under my grasp and grabbed my arm, throwing me over the couch and landing me onto the table which shattered underneath me. I felt something sharp pierce into my back and I yelled out in pain.

With gritted teeth, I managed to get to my feet despite the pain. But once I had gotten my balance, I saw Kimmie deliver a kick, sending me flying against a bookcase. My head hit one of the shelves hard and I fell to the floor with an aching head. I was about to get up again, but then I felt an immense weight land on me, and then everything went black.
