I've been watching some Butch Hartman videos lately which made me want to do some doodles in a more cartoony style, and as I was working on this I really just got a chance to reflect on Rico's character. I know I haven't had her for even a week, but I already have a really deep connection with her since she reminds me a lot of my own childhood, but is also a good example of the sort of person I want to be. Someone that despite her quiet nature is proud of her accomplishments and doesn't feel any shame in her hobbies. I've really been indulging in nostalgia this week and through it it's been helping me both remember things that I had forgotten and helping me develop her character and I really think she's gonna end up being a new sona, or at least a really important character representing my nostalgia.
