Hi Alicia, although you have not taken these 2 photos yourself, I will just the same pass a few comments.
The photo Keiran is a very good photo, black and white is the best choice for that sort of photo.
This photo, Back shot, is also very good though personally I would have preferred to have more empty space on the left and less on the right.

that one of me isnt very good coz ive scanned it in and it actually looks better on the real version as its lighter
but i understand wat u mean with the space
in a lot of our photos...the photographer left a lot of space on the sides...i guess thats jst how he liked to work
