Tiempo de trabajo:
......not the slightest idea , was a long time since I started, so I've completely lost the notion of time, also during the process had many interruptions, complications of life and ..... some distractions , some of the free moments I have spent playing the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt and Fallout 4.
All renders have been made to 3000 pixels wide, it is a fairly high resolution but really did not take a long time to be because these were made by V-Ray RT 2.4 using CUDA processing (owned by nVidia) with a GPU graphics card from nVidia EVGA GTX 770 SuperClock, estimated render time was 1 minute and a half for each render done.

It has been a long time I've devoted to this and he was already trying able draw.

Looks really good
The only thing I`d suggest is to increase the number of samples,
not only the resolution of the pic.
That way you`ll get rid of the grain that appears on
a few spots (sadly the render time increases simultaneously with that).

, It is true that sometimes the granulated tends to be annoying, but in this case is low, we must also take in mind that having a clean image is lacking in reality the grainy effect can give details slightly in the cleanest areas there are images that when handled with smoothing filters do be manipulated by the lack of these details.
This is the render settings I want to use for animations, as long as moving the granulated will not notice, I always try to do the render higher resolution and then resize it and not be so annoying this effect.

Thx for the reply ^^
If you wanted to achieve that kind of style, I totally agree .
I just know a lot of artists (including me ) that are annoyed
about the grain that always remain until you increase the
samples and if you do that,
your render time becomes an utopian value
(especially when rendering glass or hair with a translucent shader ).
But I`m delighted for you, if you are able to enjoy that kind of "effect" in your own renders,
because technically each artist in 3d developes his style not just by modelling and texturing,
but also by rendering the images in his own way.
So grain isn`t a bad thing,
but personally I just like my renders to be "clean"
(though cycles needs ages to render them ).
Still hope, I`d have the patience to model as detailed as you do, keep it up - I want to see more .

Is it correct what you say, on other surfaces is more annoying, I remember on glass grain effect is much greater.
But this can be solved by creating a render at a higher resolution and then resizing it, much of the grain is lost in this way, if you look the picture I put it to 3000 x 9900 pixels, and I put it to look at 1600 x 5280, I have set to be displayed at that size, to reduced slightly grain effect, although the actual use of such is to render animations, and hardly be noticed in static images usually bother more.
Today I wanted to put a rotating camera render in flash format, but now I see the look I left it at home, this is done to 800x800 pixels, you will see that these granules do not mind being animated as the still image.
Also I have to check well render options, the problem is that GPU rendering is much more limited in terms of effects and parameters.
And I understand that everyone has different tastes, I respect that.
That's the reason I'm doing it for GPU, the other modes can take hours to render a much lower resolution than this.
This model has been taken me a long time to do it, really need to be very patient, but whenever I do something new I learn new methods for modeling.
To this weapon even I have to make the upgrades, but may do so early next year, although I have two requests to make.
Glad to know you like what I do, thank you very much.

Saludos.

You should get a 3D printer one day and make this gun a prop!!!

Yes, It would be great to have a 3D printer to make the creations of self in physical format
