EnglishI think my message is pretty clear.
I don't want the old style removed, at least as long as Eclipse doesn't have all the old-style functionality and is in development.
I am not against the development of Eclipse, but today it is not even half functional when compared to the old style.
I am hopeful that in the future Eclipse can become as functional as the old style is and so I can hope that we will have a product as consistent as the old style is.
Please deviantART, don't remove the old style yet.

Creo que mi mensaje es bastante claro.
No quiero que retiren el viejo estilo, al menos mientras que Eclipse no tenga toda la funcionalidad del viejo estilo y se encuentre en desarrollo.
No estoy en contra del desarrollo de Eclipse, pero hoy en día no es ni media-mente funcional si se compara con el viejo estilo.

I find it interesting that this piece, which speaks out against the new "Eclipse" site interface, has risen up in the "Popular 24 hours" (if not other categories) for today. I wonder if DA staff ever look at the daily/weekly/monthly popular listings.
I've been on this site since 2007, and I've seen multiple interface changes in that time. Each time, I'm opposed to the new interface, until I'm forced to use it, and then by using it for several weeks (or months), I finally get used to it and it doesn't seem so bad anymore. Now, I've tried giving the new interface a fair shake. I tried navigating the site entirely in "Eclipse" interface for several contiguous days. One major issue I have with it (so far) is that my Watch list does not seem to have automatically ported itself to Eclipse. In other words, I have to switch back to the old site to see what new submissions/journals/status have been created by the users/groups I watch.

For folks commenting "you don't have to use it!!!" only people who made an account before eclipse was in development can swap to the old style of the website, I made a newer account to test this and was surprised to find the eclipse slider at the top of the page mysteriously missing.

Interesting. That says alot for me so basically the want to force us at all cost no matter what we think to use Eclipse despite the fact that many of us don't want it at all. Unregistered visitors only see eclipse. Something similar happened with Youtube since it was taken over by Google who also made alot of changes over a longer time that many didn't wanted.
The will probably only listen if enough peoples leave this Site. This was the very first Website that i joined back then and i really loved it for what it is. I just wish this wouldn't end like this...

Literally does nothing but move all the buttons around and makes navigation and saving faves MORE DIFFICULT!

The watermarks remain no matter how you click to resize the image using dA's old mode but disappears in Eclipse! The watermark may appear on the thumbnail in Eclipse but once you click the thumbnail to open the image page the watermark vanishes. You ADMINS better FIX this problem before you force Eclipse on us all in May!

eclipse is muchhhh less functional and looks awful and "modern" like all other sites, this reminds me of twitter changing their layout last year. It's really bothersome and I want to keep the nostalgia. OR AT LEAST make eclipse an opinion like it is currently

It's not the theme that's the issue. Eclipse is unfinished.

I've been watching the progress of Eclipse over the last year and a half.
It's not good. Only a minor fraction of the most glaring issues and feature requests have been accounted for, things they probably already planned to do before receiving feedback.
Classic DeviantART is superior in almost every way, and the few exceptions don't justify the existence of Eclipse.
I hate it and I will cease uploading art on this site the moment it switches over permanently.

I can totally agree with you. They call it better, but it's just a mess that is really hard to navigate. It's more of a major downgrade than anything.
