Description
I just recently found this photo of some of my first models/customs. Basically they are customs of Micro Machine Star Wars miniatures. They are all based on some piece of artwork from something Star Wars.Note: This is before getting/understanding: dry-brushing, the dremel, paint types, washes, flat coats, thedremel, sculpting putty, magnifying lenses, good references pics, and most importantly, the DREMEL.

How did you make some of them? Can we get some more pictures? Like the walker in the middle row, I can see you used the AT-AT's legs, but what was the head? And the next two to the right, the tan and brown ship, and the gunship. How did you make those?

Hey man. These are OLD customs, and I don't have any pics currently. The walker has the usual AT-ST head with an AT-AT head attached to the back. I believe the Gunship was a combination of an MM A-10 and a Skyhook helicopter. Finally, the Droid bomber (based on concept art from The Clone Wars 2002 video game) is a combination of an A-10 and Dragonfly plane (all Micro Machines). In fact, most of my Micro Machine customs were made using MM Military vehicles.
Cheers!

These were just kit-bashes of other Micro Machines. I used a lot of military Micro Machines for the ships.

Carefully sliced them off with an Xacto blade.

Yes. I couldn't do half the stuff I do without one. Last year I purchased the Dremel Stylus. It's easy to hold and I have much more control with it than any other Dremel model. If you're in the market for one, I highly recommend the Stylus. It's the perfect modeling tool.
