And if you can't picture a day, picture a moment. Sometimes, a moment can be the best year of your life.This is for all the sad secrets I have read lately. I'm so sorry you are all suffering...I know how pain can make you hurt, and stop believing there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This isn't a permanent fix. But it has worked for me when I was depressed and I found a few minutes of happiness. I hope it works for all of you a little bit too.

Advice to those who don't remember the best day/ moment of your life- make one! Whether just in your mind, imagining the best time of your life or actually trying to make something happen for real! It helps me in terms of how I feel and it gives me inspiration for what I want to drawΒ Β Maybe make it something realistic and promise yourself that you will make it happen soon. Or find something you really want to go to, like going to see your favorite band and buy a ticket. It gives you something to look forward to so that the trivial things stay trivial. It may not help much for things such as death of family and friends, but it is something to hold on to.

I love how so many people say they don't remember the best day, even if you don't remember how about this: The day you were born was the best day even if you don't remember it.
Saying "I don't remember my best day" just seems like an excuse to continue life wallowing in self pity; that's really no way to live.Β
And if it's kids under 18 saying you can't remember that's just ridiculous, you've yet to truly live your life. So please pull yourself up and move on until you make a happy point in your life to remember.

Defaulting on being born as your Best day while still not remembering it makes it a pointless thing to default to. The whole point is to remember a Time when you felt great and keep that feeling. Doing so to something you don't remember is not only impossible but just absurd.

Claiming to not remember any point in time where you've ever been happy is absurd in itself. Most people have shut these things out for the simple fact that they've spent so much time wallowing in misery that they can't get passed it to see anything other. You totally missed the point of why I said people should use that as a happy moment. Being born in itself gives the opportunity to live and learn. Whether it be through the good leading into the bad or the bad leading into the good there is ALWAYS room from the time of birth to make happy moments worth remembering.
And just if you've assumed I'm someone who has no right to say such, just as anyone I've had up's and downs in life and I have experienced periods of time where I purposely shut out anything good that had happened to me because I was so consumed by that bad moment in my life. My words come from what my own father said to me when I was at that point.
In regards to your last sentence how could it be impossible? The simple fact that someone is living and breathing proves they were born, they are here and they are living on through whatever they may be going through. They may not remember the moment they were born, or the month after but their existence now is proof enough to show they're still here and they're still strong enough for whatever reason to pull through the challenges they're facing in life.

There is a difference between being a Happy Day and being the Best Day. Opportunity means nothing as that wasn't what was asked but a specific moment/day.
To your last statement: being simply alive is not enough many people are alive and live boring unfulfilling lives, doesn't make it a happy life. Just being alive doesn't really matter
Since the internet makes it hard to understand the subtleties fo a persons speech, let me be clear: I'm not attacking you or your opinion, I'm just expressing that I disagree with it

Sadly I don't know what the best day of my life was, there have been a lot of good ones but I don't really know which if any was the best one? :/ oh well I guess I'll just have to think of one of those good days and settle for that feeling lol
