That lives up to your name- it's unusual. How many other artists would post an image of a docking latch?
Though I think the ships would need more than just a few latches to keep the sections together, especially during warp speed.

Are you sure? Β I can count six up on the top and at least two too each side visible in the picture... that would leave eight more unvisible on the front part, seems a bit more then would fit if the distances are kept.
