Yeah, I know. I'm working on owed art, I swear! This was just a thing that I finished up tonight. It's for a contest sort of thing over on my roommate's dA group, #Competition-Monthly . This month's theme was 'green.' :3 I couldn't help it. Green is my favorite color in March (because of where my birthday lands <3), and spring is my favorite season. It is. Seeing the very first hints of green creeping over the otherwise dead and barren landscape has made me giddy with joy every year I've lived here. <3So here we are. A group of spring azure butterflies ([link] ) ushering in the phoenix-from-the-ashes-like rebirth of their season's namesake.
(And yes I know my trees have no branches. They're... uh... redwoods. Or something. XD Really tall. Branches all at the top. Yeah.)

And... painting? Is that what this is? I thought this was sketching. XD (Somehow, painting is too intimidating to attempt, but sketching that just continues to develop for a few hours.. well. That's easy. *facepalm*)
