Description I figured since we're starting a new year, it wouldn't hurt to open up a little bit and share which artists personally influence my own style. Plus, I meant to post this last year but I never finished it.

Better late than never!

1. Reinaldo Quintero
Whether it be digital or traditional, Reiq's art is very high in quality. I've been favoring his traditional marker inkings lately, along with most of his sketch work. My Succubabes were mostly influenced by his NSFW pieces of his OC, Candela.

2. Makoto Uno
Zoids, Godannar, Dragonaut:The Resonance, and the Witchblade Animated Series. Don't think I need to say more on why I like his character designs.

3. Doxy
The largest influence on my coloring style. Bold colors, amazing use of shading, detailing, etc. I've learned a hell of alot from the way he colors, and from his tutorials as well. Ranging from manga-like exaggerated pieces to full portrait digital paintings, he's quite a versatile artist that I look up to.

4. Bruce Timm
The artist that sparked my interest in the DC Universe. Batman The Animated Series, Superman The Animated Series, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. His art and offerings to DC was a big part of my childhood. Much respect goes out to him.

5.Fred Perry
Another big influence on artistic design, use of color and webcomic creation. He's a gold standard in terms of dishing out quality stories and artwork of equal caliber.

6. Philip M. Jackson
AKA the infamous JollyJack, illustrator for Sequential Art. A true storyteller that's a huge inspiration for me when it comes to conceptualizing short stories. I'm constantly learning from him and a few other select artists such as Nebezial and Fred Perry for creating web-comics and character interactions.

7. Tite Kubo
The main reason I got into Bleach was Kubo's artwork on the manga and tv show. He's a beast when it comes to inking, plus I love his character designs (especially the male characters).

8. Elton Portilho
His style is a hallmark of everything I loved from the mid and late 90's; fun and visually appealing toon art. One of my personal favs when it comes to pin-ups and furry art; very reminiscent of classic Warner Bros. and Tex Avery stuff.

Honorable Mention:

Masami Oobari
I had to add him since alot of his character designs influence my own. He's offered storyboards and animated for Bubblegum Crisis, Code Geass, and The Angel Blade Series, etc. Similar style to Makoto's (#2).
