White Owl teams up with sisters Notre Dame and Sparrow to find the missing heroine Talon, who was last seen investigating some suspected gang activity in the run down industrial section of Queen City. The trail leads them to a seemingly abandoned factory, and the three heroines go in to investigate. In the dark recesses of the building, the lights suddenly snap on and the sound of guns being cocked break the silence.

"Surrender now, we have you surrounded!" commands a stern voice behind them, as several woman in uniforms of the Lambda Syndicate step forward, guns pointed. Athena turns to the leader, a beautiful blonde woman who appeared to be a cyborg standing confidently just out of the pool of light.

"Echo! I should have know you Lambda scumbags were behind this!" Notre Dame yells angrily, tensing to fight.

"Is this all you've got? Come on, we can take them!" Sparrow blurts out.

"No wait, don't move! " Athena cuts her off, noticing the figures behind Echo...
