I decided to take advantage of All-Star challenge this month even though I'm more of an observer than a participant. I had meant to draw something for last month's as well but scheduling got the better of me alas.At any rate, here is a picture of character of the same name inspired by an image by John Byrne. Because honestly, when you're looking to artists for inspiration for drawing stretchy guys, who better than the master. The original picture I homaged is located here: johnbyrnedraws.tumblr.com/page…

Wow! This is great stuff! I am loving the incredibly dynamic pose here! He looks great, thank you so much! I've got to get on inking my pencil sketch of your guy! Of course, I stick most of my fanart in very static poses, but I hope you dig it anyhow!

Thats a shame, but I think collaboration should be ok (not that its my say as its his group) Im mean not everyone IS a writer/artist. Most are one or the other. Oh well Id wanted to do some fanart of Steel Wolf for the DU but it looks like it will have to be an outside of the DU piece,

I'd be honored if you drew him sometime. And yeah, even though I don't get to participate like I'd like, I still enjoy seeing all the great stuff that comes out of the group. Plus, it doesn't stop me working on profiles for group characters as well as commissioning the occasional piece of art featuring DU guys (with the appropriate permissions, of course).

Yeah Im likely gonna do him and Mr Happy together in something. I like seeing Mr Happy hanging out with other OCs. Ive got similar plans for two more OCs around here (The Glyph and Airhead - also not part of the DU). Good to see this didnt stop you from collaborating with the DU artists at least.
