The past (if such a thing is relevant to one who lives outside time) of the being known as THE CHRONARCH is shrouded in mystery. Some say he is living time itself. Some say he was a simple thief who got lucky. Others, that he is an alien conqueror or god. Whatever his origins, he rules across the ages from his Fourth-Dimensional Fortress in the crosstime city of Entropolis, ever seeking to expand the scope of his empire. An avid student of Earth's ancient Roman period, he is a tactical and strategic genius, as well as a master warrior and scientist. He bears an intense hatred for the second Steel Wolf due to the defeats suffered at his hands, and will stop at nothing to wipe his existence from the timeline.
