This is a fun little doodle! I thought it would be cute to have a series of illustrations with zoo animals staring at their visitors.
It's not quite done- I want to add a little more contrast and clean somethings up, but I wanted to get this posted.
Who can name all the primates?
EDIT: I a lot of changes to the image- took on the chimps tail (oops!) and reworked some colors... let me know what you think!

Oh Awesome. The Edit looks fab, I wish I could see the old one to compare just to see everything you changed. But this looks soo awesome, the detail is really well done. Like you said earlier you would have more detail to the spider monkey, I can totally tell. All the expression are really well done and the shading as well. The little boy is soooo cute, all cubby with his toy monkey and ice cream.
Great pic all around, great job on the edit.

This reminds me of the story of the monkey and the philosopher:
The philosopher is looking at behaviour, so he locks a monkey in a room with lots of toys to see what it will do. Then he bends down to look through the keyhole. At first he sees nothing, just darkness. He blinks, confused, and then realises that he is looking into a single brown eye.
The monkey is looking through the keyhole to see what the philosopher is doing.

Gibbons are my favorite primate, hands down. ^^ They're absolutely adorable, I love their long lanky limbs
